Plombir is delicious: Ice Cream found in grocery stores

Russian ice cream has its own flavor. You can buy Baskin and Robbins or Ben and Jerry's in bigger grocery stores, but local ice cream is cheaper and arguably better. I especially like Plombir, (pronounced Plum Beer) the first ice cream company in St. Petersburg. Generally it is light and melts in your mouth with good flavor. The lightness comes from the fact that it has a lot of air in it. It will float better than ice if you put it in coffee or start a milkshake. I like the vanilla with cocoa :)

Hi,
plombir ice cream is made by many companies but my favourite one is "Petroholod" company.
The cheapest ice cream they make is in a waffel cup and it is only 70 gramms for 10 rubles.
Try it!
