In the museum-estate of the Pskov region will host a festival of Russian music.

From 18 to 27 March in the Pskov region will be the 37 th festival of Russian music, dedicated to the outstanding Russian composer Modest Musorgsky and Rimsky-Korsakov. It was reported Pskov news in the State Committee of the Pskov region in culture.

The uniqueness of the festival is that it takes place in the Museum-Estate composers Plyussa and Kuninskom areas, as well as in Pskov, Great Luki and other areas of the region. The number of participants ranges from 150 to 300 people.

The main objective of the event - promotion and preservation of the origins of Russian music, which is an integral part of national culture.

The festival of Russian music - it's back to basics of spiritual culture, their understanding, the formation of cultural and historical traditions of the Pskov region. Also a key to spiritual revival, and most importantly - the transformation of culture into a resource for development.

Traditional Festival presents Pskov Oblast Philharmonic under the auspices of the State Committee of the Pskov region in culture.

During the festival due to the fact that the March 18, 1844 - Birthday of Rimsky-Korsakov, March 21, 1839 - Birthday of Mussorgsky.

For two weeks in the Pskov region and will be heard Russian music of different eras and genres, but most of all - the product of MP Mussorgsky and NA Rimsky-Korsakov, whose names are firmly associated with the Pskov Region.
