Department Stores: Nevsky Coliseum big mall!
« on: January 19, 2009, 10:15:28 PM »
Nevsky Coliseum

A 2-story replica of the Roman Coliseum with 100,000 sq ft of shopping space opens in 2008 in north St. Petersburg.
It will eclipse the Grand Canyon as the largest mall and also compete with it.
It is another of a string of centers built along the loop road hoping to capitalize on the growth of the city in the north.

It has an Italian flavor with Italian restaurants and Italian style street walks.

This center has a big business center and 120-room Hotel as well.
Come to St. Peterburg and live in the mall!

Choose from 220 stores, or better yet, go the the 20,000 sq ft Riverier sea and beach, or walk in the venice-themed streets. If all else fails, go to the cinema.

In Russia people spend 70% of their income on goods. In America, 70% is spent on housing. Many Russian families got housing from the government in 1991 when everything was privatized with the end of the Soviet government.
