Veterans today planted trees in Pavlovsk Park. It wasn't just a symbolic action timed to the 65-year anniversary of Victory. The museum-reserve is called the restoration planting. Alley, the historic name is "Green Woman", was cut down by Nazi occupiers during the war. In this place they let the narrow gauge railway to transport timber. After the war the Alley was restored only partially. But today those came who liberated Pavlovsk.

Hippolyte Guriev, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War:

"We are honored to accept the offer of the organizers to put it all. We saw the ruins of Pavlovsk, when released, saw the destruction and now we can see how all is recreated.

Today they planted 30 oak trees. The Museum-Reserve says - this is a special monument to the soldiers who fought for Leningrad. | Forum
