Novosibirsk master Vladimir Aniskin has made the world's smallest matryoshka-doll.

Microminiaturist Vladimir Aniskin's  matryoshka has a height of 190 microns (0.19 mm) installed at the end of the hair diameter of 110 microns (0.11 mm). Another new work of Vladimir Aniskin, the hero of the animated cartoon series Smeshariki rabbit Croche, also located at the end of the hair, with a diameter of 100 microns (0.1 mm).

The miniatures went to St. Petersburg, the museum "Russian southpaw", which has a permanent exhibition of Vladimir Aniskin. Novosibirsk will see new work later, said the master.

Also, Vladimir Aniskin reported that on Dec. 25 opened his first solo exhibition at the Novosibirsk State Art Museum. The exhibition "Divo under a microscope," presented 25 miniatures, among which are "savvy flea", "Camels in the eye of the needle", "Inscription on the hair," "Lilies of the Valley of the dust," "The smallest tree in the world" and others. The exhibition will last 3 months.

Vladimir Aniskin was born and grew up in Novosibirsk. Works at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics as a senior research fellow. Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. In his collection of more than 70 miniatures, made by hand under a microscope.

I don't know what the Matryoshka looks like, but his Cheburasha and Gena are amazing.

Take a Poppy seed from a muffin, cut it in half, now place two figures on it!

Miniature Crocodile Gena and Cheburachka

Crocodile Gena and Cheburashka (heroes of a Russian cartoon)
are placed on a cut poppy seed.
The height of Cheburashka is 0.6 mm, the height of Gena is 1.4 mm.

Aniskin is amazing, here is a video of his tiny Yelka, the Christmas Tree.

Not to mention an even smaller snowman!
